Product Care

OPAL CARE - Prevent exposing your opal jewellery to prolonged contact with water, liquids, or chemicals. Temporary transparency may occur if an opal absorbs water, while exposure to chemicals could result in lasting changes. Should your opal get wet, gently pat it dry using a soft, clean cloth. As it dries, the original colour should gradually return. Store your opal jewellery in a dry environment, keeping it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature shifts.

To clean your solid gold jewellery, soak for a few moments in a solution of warm water, detergent and two drops of ammonia. Gently scrub with a soft-bristled or baby-sized toothbrush, to dislodge any dirt. Pat dry with a cotton or microfibre cloth as tissue or paper towel will scratch the metal. Gently polish with the cloth provided to restore radiance and lustre.

Remove gemstone jewellery before engaging in activities that may cause damage and avoid wearing with clothes that have loose threads or abrasive textures, to prevent snagging. Gemstone jewellery can be gently scrubbed with a soft-bristled or baby-sized toothbrush coated in warm, soapy water to dislodge any dirt.
