9K SOLID GOLD

Our fine jewellery is ethically hand-crafted in our Byron Bay studio using recycled and responsibly sourced 9K solid gold. Solid gold is a precious metal and our 9K alloy carries a subtle warm golden hue. We use solid gold that has been accredited by the RJC for social and environmental responsibilty. Our fine jewellery is delicate and requires care to maintain its longevity.

How to take care of solid gold

  • Gently polish with dry cotton cloth, please be mindful of stone settings that can catch on loose fibres
  • Remove your jewellery when applying skincare, perfumes and hair products
  • Store in a cool dry place
  • To prevent scratches and tangled chains we recommend storing jewellery separately

GOLD VERMEIL

Our gold vermeil is a 2.5 micron overlay of 18K gold on a base of ethical 925 sterling silver. Gold vermeil jewellery will fade naturally over time, acquiring a patina that adds character to the piece. For those that prefer the original lustre of the gold vermeil we do offer a re-plating service.

How to take care of gold vermeil

  • Rinse in cold water
  • Pat dry with a soft 100% cotton cloth.
  • Never use silver cloth or chemical cleaners on 18k gold vermeil jewellery as it can strip the gold finish.
  • Remove your jewellery prior to swimming, bathing and showering.
  • Apply lotions and perfume well before putting on the jewellery.
  • Avoid chemicals, hand sanitiser and cosmetics.
  • Please be careful with detoxing and excessive sweating
  • When not worn, store your jewellery in a dry airtight container.

ETHICAL STERLING SILVER

For our silver pieces, we use recycled and ethically sourced 925 sterling silver. As our design and sustainability principles involve quality and timelessness so our pieces may be loved longer, we only use recycled and ethically sourced 925 sterling silver. We do recommend taking care of your silver so it will continue to glow.

GEMSTONES

Our gemstones are consciously sourced to reflect our commitment to integrity and quality. We use responsibly-sourced natural, mineral gemstones valued for their beauty and meaning. We strive to select gemstones certified by the RJC for social and environmental responsibility.

How to take care of precious gemstones

  • To clean your gemstone and restore its shine, scrub lightly with a soft-bristled brush, warm water and detergent-free soap.
  • Avoid chemicals or excessive temperatures when cleaning.
  • Never use silver cloth or chemical cleaners on 18k gold vermeil jewellery as it can strip the gold finish.
  • Store in a safe, dry place when not worn to protect them from the elements of daily exposure.

DIAMONDS

We only source Black and White Diamonds that are accredited with the Kimberley Process (KPCS), a certification set up by the United Nations General Assembly Resolution to ensure transparency in the diamond trade and that all diamonds sourced are conflict-free.
