Do you design custom pieces?

We do have a bespoke jewellery service available to design a unique custom piece with our design team.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes! Please stop by next time you’re in Byron bay.

Our beautiful boutique is located at:

3 Ti-Tree Place, Byron Bay. Open Mon - Fri 9.30 am to 4pm.

Do you sell in other stores?

Temple of the Sun is currently stocked in a variety of retailers in Australia, the United States and Japan. Find your nearest Temple of the Sun stockist here.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

You can make an online appointment with one of our stylists here.

Bespoke Orders

Can I arrange a bespoke consultation?

We provide virtual consultations as an option if you would like to speak with one of our team members. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know you before you meet with our jeweller.

What is your return policy for bespoke designs?

Bespoke orders are custom made designed and made specifically for our customer. Before placing your order, please take note that we do not accept refunds solely due to a change of mind. It is important to carefully consider your purchase
beforehand.

What are the Bespoke Terms?

Bespoke orders will take up to 10 weeks for completion, which applies to orders over $3000. To initiate your bespoke design process, a non-refundable down payment of $1000 is required. After confirmation of your design, full payment must be completed within 8 weeks. Your jewellery will be shipping to you between the 8 – 10 week mark after design confirmation and full payment has been made.

Are you able to make bespoke ring sizing?

We offer customised options based on the size of your request. Please note that a fee for customisation may apply, depending on the specifics of your request.

We are unable to accommodate any customisation requests that fall outside of the options provided. If you would like to receive a quote for a bespoke request, or to discuss design options with our support team, please fill in our bespoke enquiry form above.

We recommend having your ring sized with a local jeweller or following our ring size guide here.

Can I change, cancel or return my order once placed?

If you change your mind on your purchase after a deposit has been paid, the deposit and balance paid is non-refundable. Your deposit is considered your confirmation of your order and is not able to be refunded.

Changes after the second payment are not encouraged due to the prohibitively expensive costs that may be incurred. We recommend choosing carefully when confirming the final design.

Jewellery & Product Care

How do I keep the shine on my jewellery?

Does the jewellery contain any nickle?

All Temple of the Sun 925 sterling silver, 18K gold vermeil and solid gold jewellery is 100% nickel free.

Where are your materials sourced from?

We responsibly source conflict-free gemstones, opting for Australian stones wherever possible. The majority of our sapphires are from local family-owned mines in Australia and some of our rubies are sourced from Greenland. We use a mixture of lab-grown or conflict-free, natural diamonds, certified by the Kimberley Process. Our 925 sterling silver is recycled and our solid gold is ethically sourced or recycled from international suppliers.

Where is Temple of the Sun Jewellery manufactured?

Our solid gold styles are handcrafted in our solid gold studio in Byron Bay.

All vermeil & silver styles are hand made using the ancient lost wax casting method in our Studio in Thailand.

Can I wear my jewellery in the water?

We recommend taking vermeil and silver jewellery off when you shower, swim or surf as it will fade the gold lustre over time.

Solid gold jewellery can be worn in the water without fading.

When will sold out styles be back in stock?

If there’s a piece of jewellery that you love but is out of stock, please sign up to be notified when it becomes available.

I have lost an earring, can I buy a single?

All of our earrings are designed and made as a pair, so we don’t sell them singularly. 

However, we do have a few solid gold earrings that are sold individually.

How do I find my ring size?

Warranty

What is your warranty policy?

Our warranty policy applies to all jewellery including Gold Vermeil, Ethical Sterling Silver & Solid Gold.

All of our jewellery is hand-crafted according to the highest standard and is quality checked before we send it to you.

In the unlikely case of a faulty item, Temple of the Sun Jewellery offers a six-month warranty starting from the completion date for all their products. This warranty specifically covers any manufacturing faults however excludes damages caused by wear and tear, oxidisation, and broken chains.

It’s important to note that this warranty does not cover lost, damaged, or chipped diamonds and stones.

For all warranty claims, please email your request to support@templeofthesun.com.au, including your order number and full details of the fault including images, and our team will be in contact regarding the next steps.

What happens if I lost my jewellery?

Temple of the Sun is not accountable for any missing jewellery.

Orders & Shipping

Can I include a personalised message with my order?

Yes, you can add a note to your order. Please write a small note at the checkout in notes section.

We also have gift wrapping available for a small charge, just add to cart prior to placing your order.

How do I change or cancel my order

If you need to change or cancel your order please email us at support@templeofthesun.com.au or contact us on (02) 5629 7084 between our opening hours Mon - Fri, 9am - 4pm.


Note: We are closed on public holidays.

We unfortunately cannot gaurantee any changes or cancel your order after it has left our premises. 

Can you send my order without a receipt?

All of our orders are sent without a receipt and beautifully packaged, which makes it perfect when gifting. 

How long will it take to receive my order?

Delivery times vary depending on the piece you selected. Vermeil & silver styles usually ship the next business day, made-to-order styles can be anywhere between 2 to 6 weeks. Please refer to precise shipping times for different size and materials. Alternatively, you can get in touch with our team to find out more information.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I drop my return off in store?

You sure can, please bring along your order number and we can organise your return for you.

Can I exchange earrings?

For hygiene purposes, we strictly do not refund and/or exchange earrings.

How do I return a purchase?

Should you have a change of heart within 14 days of purchasing, we are happy to provide a refund or store credit on full price items only.

Change of heart policy does not include sale items or earrings (for hygiene reasons).

Please care for your jewellery by following our care instructions, as we are not responsible for the maintenance of your purchased jewellery.
